All passengers on a plane that covered the line between the city of Zante, in the Netherlands, and Cardiff, in Wales, have been forced to quarantine after seven confirmed positives for coronavirus .

According to passenger Angela Parks , the seven positives are from three different groups of young people who had participated in a party on the Greek island of Zakynthos.

Welsh Public Health Director Giri Shankar said the plane’s passengers “will be contacted shortly, but in the meantime, they should isolate themselves at home for as long as they are infectious, even without developing symptoms. Anyone who presents them should be tested without fail. “

“Our investigations into other coronavirus cases indicate that a lack of social distancing, particularly by a minority of people in their 20s and 30s, has resulted in the spread of the virus to other groups of people.”
